Jeanette Cota

Owner/Teacher/Choreographer:
Mrs. Jeanette Cota has been dancing for over 30 years, with more than 16 of them at a professional level. She has studied dance in Flint, Detroit, Lansing, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, France, Italy and London. Jeanette herself has been a National Dance Champion numerous times. She has danced with professional companies such as “ Detroit Drive” and was also offered a promising position with the “Radio City Rockettes”.

Jeanette has been teaching for over 16 years in surrounding areas. Many of her students have traveled with nation dance companies.
Her dancers have appeared on ESPN, winning second in the nation and have continued with their dance, weather it is professionally or teaching. Jeanette has also choreographed
many production numbers for pageants, fashion shows and
special events.

Jeanette was born and raised in Linden and is now a resident with
her family. She is married and has two children, who both dance.
Her goal for Broadway Dance Academy is to bring the fun back
into dance and to let the children achieve their own style with the
correct instruction at each level. This gives the students the
chance to take dance to any level they choose in the future.

Miss Jordan - Teacher
Jordan has been with BDA for over 5 years. She has studied exclusively with Jeanette Cota and has been teaching/assisting for the past 2 years. Jordan has the heart and soul that a dancer needs to take her to any place that she chooses to go. Jordan is a huge inspiration to her students and fellow classmates, just with her work ethic. If you ever have the pleasure to watch her dance, she will move you with her emotion and passion. Jordan has competed many times and has taken top awards including Platinum, which is the highest level you can be awarded. We look forward to having Jordan around the studio for a long time and seeing her grow with her students in the future.

Miss Amy
Miss Amy is a new addition to our Creative Movement and Pre School Program. She has had many years of Ballet and Tap training and has 2 daughters that are a part of BDA. Amy also is a substitute teacher for the Linden School District and brings her teaching talents to the classroom. The kids absolutely love her and her kindness. She is also in charge of all of the fundraising opportunities that are offered for all of you. Amy is a pleasure to have at the studio and brings a warmness to everything she does.
